Wayne Dunn's LTD Ed. France collab Marine 1

Hello everyone!

 

Before I let Wayne Dunn talk about his story of bait making from the early 1980s, I want to give you a short story so you can all understand where this collab came from.

 

I met Wayne about ten years ago when I was still importing old school Daiwa reels from Japan. He called me because I had 3 mint Daiwa SS9000 Millionmax with 8 spools for sale. It was such a big hit for me at the time that my bank account was literally empty. We came to a deal and a week later Wayne's new reels arrived. Since then we kept in touch, although it was fairly brief contact, we shared some experiences with making bait and the struggle that sometimes involves.

 

It must have been last year that things really clicked and Wayne asked me to make some special hook baits for him. Wayne and his better half moved to France last year where he continued making bait as he did in the UK.

 

Limited Edition Baits France was born and when I spoke to Dunny over the phone I knew he was knocking on the right door for rolling his hook baits. We agreed to his very specific recipe and as they say the rest is history!
