Using a line clip on the rod for your reel allows you to create the optimal angle for bite registration between the reel, pendant and bite detector. By changing the position of a line clip, you can fine tune your bite indication for different fishing situations.
By reducing the distance between the clip and the coil (by positioning the clip further forward for the coil), you can increase the sensitivity of your bite indicator because the greater angle this creates between the clip and the coil reduces tension. This is useful when fishing with slack lines and has the effect of making the pendant relatively 'lighter'.
Alternatively, when fishing long distances, with larger hangers, the line clip should be as far away from the bite alarm as possible (toward the spool) to create the maximum potential load on the line and increase the bite alarm when fishing with a tighter line.
Easy to use:
Simply place the clip on the side of the blank at the desired distance from the mill.
Place the O-ring in the groove on one side of the clip.
Pull the O-ring around the back of the blank.
Place the O-ring in the remaining groove and make sure the ring is pushed well into the channel.
The design of the Sensi-Clips also allows the hangers to be adjusted without pulling the line completely out of the clip, as the line can be fed through the opening on the inside of the clip if needed.
Each package contains 3 x Sensi-Clips and 3 x 25mm UV-resistant O-rings.
