Large pop up imitation maggots

These large floating imitation maggots can be used in a variety of ways and have proven to be very effective for Carp, Tench and Breem.

Carp anglers in particular have found the extra buoyancy they provide over standard size maggots to be a real advantage when using larger, heavier hooks.

One presentation that particularly stood out during field trials was a slip-D rig, in which one large imitation maggot was combined with several real ones to produce a vivid "medusa" effect. Also useful when small fish are a nuisance, constantly ripping real maggots off the hook.

Imitation maggots work best when used with real maggots as loose feed or in PVA bags.

Resists the attention of nuisance species, including crayfish.
