Rigga Barbed BCR Hooks

BCR Rigga hooks are the perfect pointed Chod/Stiff/Multi/D-rig hook patterns. The gently swept pointed tip allows the hook to penetrate effectively, converting more 'pick ups' into fish in the net.
BCR hooks feature a wonderfully long tapered, gently sweeping beak-shaped hook tip that has a great razor-sharp chemically etched point. The profile of the beak tips maintains the fundamental mechanical advantages of improved penetration through a positive angle of the hook and then a positive engagement effect when the hook is set.

The pattern is also incredibly strong, its made from extra strong top quality carbon steel that is both forged and double tempered, meaning these are 'man enough' for most situations. In addition, we took the opportunity to introduce a larger diameter eye, simply to make this hook more user-friendly for anglers who prefer to use knotless knots instead of complex whip knots like the Snell or Domhoff. The larger eyes make it easier to put high diameter stiff hooklink materials, such as Tripwire, through it twice and still fit the tag through to form a 'D'.

The angle of the hook is determined by the direction in which the hook tip points. In the case of the BCR, this has been optimized by tuning the length of the shank and the angle of the eye so that the hook digs in deeply, quickly and safely when a fish is hooked. During testing, these hooks proved to give superior hooking and work extremely well with all kinds of presentations such as Chod, D-Rig and Hinged Stiff style.
