Combining a tungsten-impregnated skin with a fast-sinking, blended Dyneema/Fluorocarbon core, Gardner "Ultra Sink" offers the fastest-sinking and densest skinned hooklink available to the angler. With the Gardner "Ultra Sink", it's the fastest and densest hook connection available.

The skin is strong and is easy to strip, straighten and knot - without tearing when tightening fig.8 knots. It has a medium stiffness that is stiff enough to use any balanced rig/bait combination - but supple enough to not sit awkwardly when the link is over rough ground or obstacles - in fact it is the perfect compromise!

It has proven to be hugely versatile during testing in the UK and by our teams in Europe, used conventionally stripped or unstripped for boom sections on Ronnies and hinged rigs.

In terms of color, we put a lot of effort into getting the colors just right for most fishing scenarios. The 'Muddy Brown' is a beautiful medium brown, perfect for a multitude of stains and as such it is our go to skinned hooklink that fits almost anywhere! The 'Natural Silt' is black and it effectively mimics the countless bits of organic material that are everywhere in the lake bottom. Finally, the green is a rich "Deep Green" that will blend with weedy areas, but based on a tone that can also be used as a general universal hooklink.

The fast-sinking braided interior is fine in cross-section, extremely strong and of a color matched to the skin, so the rig remains unobtrusive.
