The new GT-HD is produced exclusively for Gardner Tackle with a unique high-performance copolymer formula using advanced manufacturing processes to give the line less stretch and a fresh feel without compromising the other important features.

After all, why develop a line that offers an exceptional feel if it doesn't have the high knot strength, great abrasion resistance, fast sinking, and a wonderfully smooth and supple feel that anglers want to maintain. By developing a mainline that brings together all these features, 'GT-HD' sets a new standard in performance copolymer mainlines. Finally, by producing GT-HD in an awesome low-viz color, we have created a line that simply outperforms other low stretch lines in every way.

Reduced stretch provides excellent feedback on the rod tip when feeling the lead on the bottom and provides improved/enhanced bite indication at long range.
The smooth finish and smooth feel offer superior throwing performance.
GT-HD is formulated to sink quickly and settle near the bottom of the lake.
This line has exceptionally high knot strength and high abrasion resistance.
Low-Viz Green color provides excellent camouflage whether you are fishing slack or tight lines.
For optimal performance, we recommend a Palomar knot with GT-HD (although Grinner and Fig.8 loops will still exceed the specified breaking strength).

*We recommend rolling up GT-Hd with the label facing up (the line comes out counterclockwise) and checking regularly for line twist for the best possible results.
