The S-Plus range is sold by alarm only and are a non-remote alarm. The S-Plus Compacts have the same features as the R-Plus Compacts, but without a receiver.
To complement the range, Scott Edwards has launched a new range of alarms.
These go through life as the MK1 R-Plus Compact and MK1 S-Plus Compact.
Both alarms have been given the same features, the only difference being that the S-Plus range has been released as a non-Remote alarm. For the angler who does not use a receiver.
Features of the new alarms include the following.
- Led Color buttons on the alarms, allowing yourself to choose the color combination. All colors and patterns are possible and easy to customize
- Buttons for volume, sensitivity and dimmer for the strength of the LEDs
- Next to each on and off button is a low battery indicator that will flash when the alarm is low on battery power.
- Double mute button on alarm with 2 settings, press once for 30 second mute, press twice for 60 second mute.
- A clear LED indicating that you have a recoil, also the sound of the alarm will sound a different tone when a recoil occurs. At a full run you will hear a high-pitched tone, at a drop back a lower tone with a flashing LED.
- The screws in the battery door have been removed making it easier to replace the battery
- The alarms are smaller than the MK1 compacts.
- The alarms now have isotope slots for only 2 x 12MM
- The alarms will be programmable in seconds.
- Easy to replace rollerwheel that will be made by Kudos Tackle in the most possible color combinations.
- The Kudos Conversion fitting for the MK1 R-Plus and S-Plus range.
- Anti line skip roller wheel, so the line stays neatly in the wheel.
- Slick glide roller wheel, for improved indication with light lines.
Scott Edwards is setting a true precedent in the marketplace with this new range of alarms. All the good things about all the alarms on the market have been put into 1 set and will therefore become a solid competitor to the High End Beet alarms available today.
As Scott himself points out "These alarms are fucking animals! ECU trough and trough."
