Covert tungsten Kickers

Covert Tungsten Kickers are designed based on "set in stone" rig mechanics.
The addition of a long kicker to a hook radically improves the speed at which a rig responds and provides a higher degree of control over how the hook aggressively turns (forcing the point down), keeping a hook in the lower lip. Another advantage of this design, and particularly its length, is that the kicker improves hooking potential without closing the opening of the hook, so you get all the benefits of combining an aggressive hooking mechanism with the potential created by using a super-strong hook.

Thanks to the extra length of the kicker, the pivot point is naturally positioned further away from the hook point, and this means that the hook wants to grab a little further into the mouth of the fish, further reducing the occurrence of pulling the hook.

The Covert Tungsten Kickers combine a long straight extension with a curved section, which ends in a 90-degree exit angle for the hook connection. One of the great advantages of our unique design is that it incorporates a very slow taper, which allows the kicker to be cut and adapted to almost any hook pattern and application.

L-Kickers are 24mm long and straight out of the pack.
L-Kickers are most suitable for hooks with sizes 4 to 6.
L-kickers are 1mm I/D at the eye end.

XL-kickers are 25mm long and straight out of the pack.
XL-kickers are most suitable for hooks of size 4 and larger.
XL-kickers are 1.45mm I/D at the eye end.

They are extremely easy to use, it's as simple as threading the Kicker into the hook fastener and onto the eye of the hook so it fits properly. It is important that you always make sure that the turned-in 'kick' connects perfectly with the hook point, as this is what makes the part work really effectively.
