Bait floss

Gardner Bait Floss has a flat profile and virtually no stretch.
This combination of properties is essential in a good bait floss, as it ensures that the floss grips on smooth and hard air-dried hookbait and does not "move" on impact. If the floss is stretchy, then the perfectly prepared, coiled and dried spherical hook bait may otherwise jump out of the loop!

The wax coating on the floss allows the fishermen to tie smoothly and helps to "blob" the cut knot ends. This burning back of the tags also seals the knot and again this helps to keep the hook bait securely in place, so you can be sure that this critical aspect of your presentation is perfect.

Gently heat the floss, by placing the edge of a flame around it, after you have tied your hook bait (try to do this without burning the pop up!). This makes the floss slightly transparent and shrinks the material, holding the loop in place.
